The Portland AI Film Festival is a one-night, curated screening dedicated to short films made with artificial intelligence.

The festival exists to discover and showcase filmmakers who are using AI as a central creative force in the making of video , not as a novelty, a technical demo, or a post-production shortcut. We’re interested in work that feels authored, intentional, and thoughtfully constructed, where AI meaningfully shapes what appears on screen.

This is a curated event. Films are selected based on clarity of idea, strength of execution, and the role AI plays in the creative process.
